Japanese Favorites, Baked Fresh

Discover our signature shokupan and Japanese bakery favorites.

Our Signature Flour Blend

Our signature shokupan starts with a carefully selected flour blend, including locally milled flour, chosen for its flavor and baking qualities. The blend gives our bread its signature balance of pillowy softness, moisture, delicate chew, and beautiful structure.

Temperature Matters

Great bread takes more than good ingredients. We carefully monitor dough temperature, fermentation time, and proofing conditions throughout the process to help each batch develop its best texture and flavor.

Thoughtfully Selected Ingredients

We use ingredients we feel good about serving to our own families, including organic A2 milk and premium Irish butter. Simple ingredients, thoughtfully selected, for bread that is soft, rich, and comforting.

Small Batch. Big Difference.

Our bread is made in small batches, allowing us to pay close attention to each dough from mixing and fermentation to baking. For us, quality comes before quantity.

Pillowy. Moist. Milky. Delicately Sweet.

How to Store Your Shokupan

Room Temperature (2–3 days)
Keep the loaf sealed in its bag, away from heat and sunlight.

Please Don’t Refrigerate

Refrigeration can cause bread to become firm and stale more quickly. If you won’t finish it in a few days, freeze it instead.

How to Freeze

  1. 1Slice your loaf.
  2. 2Wrap individual slices tightly.
  3. 3Place in a freezer-safe bag and remove as much air as possible.
  4. 4Freeze and enjoy within 2–4 weeks for best quality.
